Overview
In order to protect the privacy of Centerboard's clients, I am unable to present the majority of the work I have completed. It is possible for me to describe what I have done and briefly summarize my thinking and process.
In my role as one of two product designers on Centerboard's design team, I assisted the lead designer on multiple updates and screens. During my tenure, I completed the following projects:
Interaction Design - Prototypes
-
Get Rates Screen
Centerboard offered an API powered ‘Get Rates’ screen to keep potential users’ footwork research to a minimum, ultimately saving them time and money.
With this screen, I was responsible for creating an expandable toggle card that would allow users to view a summary of their quote requests, edit their rates, and view rate history within a slider card. Three months later our project managers requested an updated feature. After a team brainstorm, it evolved into a slider with a pin feature so that users would have the ability to pin and compare what changes were made prior.

-
Save Ship Site Screens
With this screen feature, my responsibilities included customizing a tooltip, pop-up, and a snack bar from our existing design system, to better communicate potential critical changes.
UI Illustrations
I helped design elements for the app to help enhance the overall UI using my illustration skill set.
Before designing, I wanted to better understand our target audience, research multiple existing designs then sketch ideas before vectoring via Figma. I always try to connect with users be that familiarity or nostalgic representation.
Drop Down Menus
With Centerboard's logistic app, Carrier users would be able to capture a wide range of reports. I was responsible for creating a drop-down menu and breaking down reports into sub-categories.
